The Roller Hockey Radicals by Matt Christopher is a wonderful and an interesting book.It is about a little boy named Kirby who moved to a new town with his parents.He wants to make his own choices, but his parents were so over protective and didn't aloud him to play on the street.His parents asked him to find a safe place,where he can play with his team hockey.At the end of the story Kirby showed an excellent work and made his parents proud of him.This is a realistic fiction and a multicultural book.The illustrations are very effective and it talks about safety and protection.Also, it shows the important of having a positive model in any child's life.
