What Mary Jo Shared

Title: What Mary Jo Shared
Author: Janice May Udry
Illustrated by : Elizabeth Sayles

I really enjoyed this book and I recommended it for children's literature. This book is about a shy little girl who wants to share something with her classmates , but she did not know what to bring with her to the classroom . She wants to share something unique and special. She kept thinking and thinking until she decided to share her father and introduce him to the classmates.
Everyone in her class liked the idea and admired her unusual idea! She surprised her teacher and her classmates and gave them a new idea of what to share in the classrooms and how to have a creative thinking . I liked this book for many different reasons : It is a multi-cultural book and it is well-illustrated . It helps the child to be creative and use his/her imagination to reach their goals or destinies.
